When is the next karting event? Do you all still do these half day events? I've got 5 or 6 interested in doing a half day enduro.
Not sure how much but I can split the track rental upfront cost with one or more ppl

Enduro like the real enduro?
One long race with pit stops to refuel/change drivers?
That sounds like WICKED fun. I'd be down for that. _________________ 2002 BMW M3 Coupe Titanium Silver 6MT

VIR Jacked the rates through the ROOF. No exaggeration here, it's now THREE times what it used to cost to rent it for a half day. Over $4000.
It's a total joke, and they know it... the guy who runs the kart track said the new manager set those prices and it has absolutely killed their business. They are having some meetings currently about what to do and he's going to let me know what the outcome is.
Hopefully the rates will go back down, but for now the only reasonable option is to hit up rush hour and get group rates from Sherif. _________________

I went with a group two weekends ago and we did an hour of karting for $67/person (with 12 people = $800). We broke it up into 3 chunks with breaks in between and it seemed to go pretty well. It's no enduro, but it's not too bad in terms of bang for the buck. _________________

That sounds about right, $67 for an hour hurts when we used to pay $80 for 4 hours though. _________________

http://www.endurancekarting.com/
just did a 6 hr race at charlotte with these guys and had a great time...looks like their next event at charlotte is in november though...
imo, it's going to take a big commitment (and buy in) to put together our own real enduro...much easier to put together a more casual day of karting with this crowd i would think _________________
