I'd like to go and spectate. Maybe bring some people. Any advice on that part of it? Where to camp? What to bring?

The biggest advice I can give you is check the weather. I have done this race when it was 16deg - 70deg. Nice sunny days and rain most of the day. Dress app and you can spectate from all around the track. Pagoda will get U turn 1-4, go by the bridge and u cold see the ushill esses, south paddock will get u a nice view of T10 all the way to the back straight, finally above false grid u will see rollercoast-hogpin. Go online and get a track map if this is your first time there. Come by and say hello. Hope this helped.

I'll be there with the Caddy again.

Re: camping. The South Paddock seems to be a good place for "base camp" because it's flat, paved and close to bathrooms. You can also see the drama from Southbend through Oak Tree and passes that get setup on the backstretch. You'll have plenty of time to move around the track and watch from every vantage point.

First of all congrats to Dave, James and rest of the Bimmerworld gang for there 3rd overall victory in a row.

We were third overall and first in class putting a good show untill a Miata collided with the car and it took the coolent res. The driver did not realize the problem and kept on driving. Came into the pits with the oil light and coolent temp both on three laps lator. After about an hour of trying and trying some more I had to accept that the motor was done and packed it in. There is allways next year.
