Hey folks,

Wondering whose going to be heading down to C&C this coming Saturday? Was planning on heading down there, weather permitting.

Nice showing of cars yesterday...I was amazed by the turnout.

Good times and no crazies trying to squeal tires for attention.

Here's a taste of what was on display...

Definitely didn't expect to see one of these yesterday morning (Zagato bodied GT1600)...

Nice early 930...

Dubbers...

Now that's a wagon...

Plenty of *stance* crew in effect...

Nicely modified Euro 930...

997.1 & 997.2 GT3s...

Ultima GTR...

Super nice 544!

Way too much really nice American iron that I managed to forget to take pictures of...

Oh yeah, and these two terds...

...My first C&C in NC, I'd definitely visit again!

Well, honestly I was surprised to this sort of showing for a Charlotte gathering. It wasn't quite a Irvine, Ca. C&C, but it did capture some of the coolness with a few off-the-wall cars.

Cool stuff! I wonder if it was a real Spyder, or a chopped up Berlinetta.

Please tell me this is not leaving the 4/2 meet. I am not fimilar with what the area looks like where the meets are but i know Underground Racing is in Charlotte and they specialize in putting twin turbos in supercars.

action starts around the 2 minute mark.

Wow!

That wasn't leaving the C&C on 4/2, but I can definitely see how you'd think that.

Someone was asking me if it was a real daytona, I didn't even think to check if it was a real spyder. Did have a new top.

Not sure if it was the owner or just a passer by commenting but I did hear talk of it being restored and not a numbers matching car. But none the less still beautiful even if it was a roof chop and not numbers matching. Hell that means I'd drive it like I stole it and not feel bad, if it were mine.

I just mentioned it because it's the difference in it being worth like $300-400k or $1M+. Regardless, they'll both make heavenly noises and look the part.
