OK, so clearly I'm going as a spectator. Will anyone else be making the trip? Any other former ALMS/Grand-Am fans out there?

Big fan, went a couple years ago crewing for Bimmerworld in Continental pre-race. Awesome to watch the night practices for Rolex from inside the pits.

Unfortunately won't make it in person this year.

if you can get paddock or hot pit access, check out the pit/garage activity (especially at night)...pretty wild to watch some of the pit/garage repairs that the teams do

I bought garage access, which I'm really pumped over. I'm hoping I can rent a headset at the track so I can keep up with the action. I would imagine it's difficult to keep up with what is going on.[/img]

I never really worried about following the race very closely when I was there, just sort of hanging out and having fun.

You should be able to follow live timing using the grand-am (or whatever it's called now) app.
