Has anyone replaced these on an E90 (M3 or other?) who may have done the same job on an earlier chassis? Is it fairly the same between years?

It appears as if the collective wisdom on this is to just order both parts and replace both at once.

I have what I am pretty sure is vibration around 35mph in the rear area of the car consistent with one or both failing (102k on the car). I have not had to do one these myself on any BMW but from what I read, it seems fairly straightforward.

I did note that on an E65, they did a transmission adapt relearn or similar procedure since I have DCT.
