We are planning an Audi urS car meet in Asheville on the weekend of October 1. It seems that as numbers increase, interest in a meet with others with the similar sickness seems to be peaking. This meet will focus on '92-'95.5 S4s and S6s. Others that are interested in these fine vehicles are welcome as well.
Details are sketchy now but will include a day drive over some of the more interesting roads around the Asheville area, lunch at a local eatery and maybe some night activities for those who choose to stay the night in Atown. Spouses or significant others are also welcome but if yours is anything like mine, they will probably want to find other things to do in town while we act silly in and about our coveted vehicles.
So far, I know of 8 people who are definite about or very interested in this gathering. We'd love to see many more!

*****New development! Due to conflicts with the Petit Lemans, we're moving the meet to the following weekend of October 8. Hope this works for everybody! *****

I will try and make it, as well. Right now I have no idea if I have other plans that weekend or not. Cool maybe I'll even have the software for my rs2 setup by then....

For some reason I was thinking Sept 1 not Oct 1... Keep the details coming, I should be able to make it with that much advance notice.

I have useable boost at 2200 rpm, hmm not sure how low I can peak, since I can't really peak right now, as my IA software only allows about 18-20 psi max.

That's pretty cool. I was under the impression that with the RS2 turbo, you got boost about the same time my 5ktq gets it at ~2800. That's a whole lot more useable than I thought it would be. I may have to consider the RS2 or something similar down the line. 034EFI seems to have a lot of choices that are similar to the RS2 setup so I may also look there.

Hey J:

My understanding of the RS2 (and having ridden in an RS2 equipped S4 with software upgrade), boost starts building early (low to mid 2's) and really hits around 2800-3000. (keep in mind that the car I was in had the Mineha software and was making about 400 hp / 425 tq at the flywheel.)

Just want everyone who is interested know that we're pushing this back a week due to the Petit. We scheduled this meet thinking the Petit was going to be late October like it has been in years past. Embarassed
