well, i'm finally getting around to loading some vids onto my computer and will hopefully find a host sometime soon...thanks to Evan for hosting this vid for me!

this is a qualifying lap (my personal best at vir) from the oktoberfest club race weekend back in september...

notes about the lap: i ran a 2:11:095...there was a waving yellow for a car off at oak-tree so i slowed up a bit there...i was a little hot entering 14a but it didnt really slow me down any...

enjoy!

right click, save as

i'm hoping to have some more vids to post in the near future...

Here's one I found from my Audi.

This is the North Course at VIR. This was with the Alfa Romeo Club. I was running with the Red group in this vid.

Not too much to talk about, but you can get an idea of the cornering forces by watching the video camera move from side-to-side, as well as some line. At the end of the vid you can see my letting the NSX by. His name is Xavier. There were three of us running together on this lap. What the video doesn't show you (I ran out of tape) is that on the next lap around Xavier and I were coming up on an Acura TSX in the braking zone near Turn 1 when his engine blew and Xavier FLEW off the track.

Anyway, some video. And no, I'm not nearly as fast as David. Wink

Both vids are awesome... I can't believe how fast you were going in the first vid... call me a wuss, but that looks a little scary Embarassed

also, in the second vid... the last time you get passed by the v8 e46 M3, you can see him coming up in the rearview mirror - that is badass!

the closer we get to Feb 11th the more excited i get, I went to CV products this past Friday and got my helmet, head sock, and a nice fleece lined helmet bag Twisted Evil

I got a Bell M2 - SA2005 (they didn't have any SA2000 helmets left). It was $319 - the next cheapest full face helmet was about $100 more. I am very happy with the M2 and it fits great.

The sales woman there didn't really understand what I was buying the helmet for, so she was trying to sell me all kinds of stuff, including a full body racing suit... that stuff is EXPENSIVE!!!
