They do look good but could double as boat anchors! Laughing What about those TDR-s? They are 1.5 times as much but damn, they're 16 lbs!

I never have looked at Fliks. Pretty attractive line of wheels. Thanks Jake!

Mmm, those fliks do look nice. Bit heavy, but that doesn't matter unless you plan on tracking it or something. For street wheels it shouldn't make a difference.

18s, but really cheap, relatively light, very strong and look fantastic.

Well, the OEM Bolero's are 25 lbs each, so the Justice's aren't too heavy.

I was more looking at the "cheap" aspect, as I want to take the RH's off the car and send them off to be straightened and refinished. The second set of wheels would then be used for all season tires (monsoon season here right now).

I was hoping someone had a set of 17" OEM Audi wheels laying around that they wanted to get rid of, cheap.

Thanks,
Kevin

Jeez, with all the B5 S4s running around here on aftermarket wheels, you'd think somebody has a stock set they want to get rid of! Rolling Eyes

Thing is... there aren't very many OEM audi wheels that run 17x8.

The common avus is 7.5 wide ET45, and many others came in 16's not 17's. There are only a couple 17x8's and they are typically desirable to people, not super cheap.

That's certainly the issue, not a lot of oem 17x8s out there.

As far as the weight of the fliks, its pretty good for a standard inexpensive 17. Considering the B5 S4 wheels were 28 lbs. And I beleive that the RS4 reps are 25lbs. Honestly, in a blind taste test using the same size wheels and brand of tires i would think most people couldnt tell a 4-5 lb difference. Maybe not even 10, who knows.

Remember the Law of Wheels! There are 3 desirable aspects of wheels:
Cheap
Light
Strong

You can have 2.

Oops, I forgot the B5 S4 wheels were 17*7.5.

The 8" width isn't the most neccessary dimension, I just need to be able to run my 235/45/17's on the wheel. They will squeeze on a seven ince wheel in necessary, and if someone has a set of afoprmentioned S4 wheels, I am more than willing to run spacers to be able to benefit from the extra set of wheels.

Thanks,
kevin

I'd considering selling my B5 Avus and the spacers to go with them... except I just put new 235/45/17's on them a couple months ago Confused

The RS4's look great, but they are too heavy.

The S6 has 17x8 OEMs. MAy want to check the S6 board over at AW and see if anybody wants to unload a set.
