Expensive, but TONS of track time. More than you can use. Solo drivers are allowed to take passengers. Free drinks during the day (water and soft drinks) and optional catered lunch (it's damn good too, and when you consider how expensive the food is at the pagoda, reasonably priced)

Anyway, registration is open. 33 solo spots remaining. Novices are allowed for $75 extra (instructor fee).

I've heard it was hands down the best group to run with but i just can't get over the price right now. I'm sure I'll do a Chin event at some point, but it won't be this year.

that probably depends on who you ask and what you are looking for out of a track event...

for beginners/intermediate students, there are better groups out there like thscc, acna, and others...those events are more focused on learning/teaching

for very experienced drivers and racers, chin events are great because you get a lot of track time and they have liberal passing rules...you'll see lots of racers/teams testing at chin events...i've used their events for testing and coaching with great success...

as far as price goes, you're paying for a LOT more track time than your typical DE, usually twice as much track time...which may not be that useful for beginner and intermediate drivers as they may not be able to use all of it
